Rigidiser is applied to the surface of ceramic fibre blanket, or other high temperature ceramic fibre insulations by spraying or brushing. After air drying, ceramic fibre rigidizer firms up the refractory ceramic fibre, giving it tougher, more abrasion resistant characteristics. It is normally applied after the ceramic fibre is installed.

Rigidizer can be shipped in 5 litre or 25 litre plastic drums. 5 litres of rigidizer covers approximately 5m2 brushed or 100 square feet when sprayed.
